2. Verification
Stud or Dud does not verify all information appearing in its reports. Public records and other data sources may contain errors, omissions, duplicate records, outdated information, sealed or expunged records, records associated with a different person, or information that requires context. Names, addresses, dates of birth, aliases, and other identifiers may be similar across different individuals, and information may be incorrectly matched to a person.
Any score, rating, label, summary, or AI-generated comment presented by Stud or Dud is a non-binding informational tool. It is not a factual finding, legal conclusion, safety determination, compatibility determination, or statement that any person is trustworthy, untrustworthy, dangerous, safe, suitable, unsuitable, dishonest, financially responsible, financially irresponsible, married, unmarried, criminal, non-criminal, or otherwise of any particular character. Scores and AI-generated comments are generated using automated processes and should be treated as general commentary that requires independent review and verification.
You are solely responsible for how you use the information. Before making any decision involving another person, you should independently verify the information through official records, direct communication, or other reliable sources.
3. AI-Generated Commentary
Some Stud or Dud features may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to summarize information, generate commentary, identify possible patterns, or provide a score. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, biased, or may overstate the significance of underlying data. AI-generated commentary should not be interpreted as a factual determination, professional advice, legal advice, safety advice, psychological assessment, compatibility assessment, or character judgment.
Stud or Dud does not guarantee that AI-generated commentary accurately reflects a person’s history, current status, intent, character, relationship suitability, financial condition, criminal history, marital status, or personal safety risk. You should review the underlying information, consider context, and independently verify any information before relying on it.
4. Score-Specific Disclaimer
Any rating or score that may appear on Stud or Dud is an automatically generated informational and entertainment feature based on selected data elements available to Stud or Dud at the time of the search. The score may consider categories such as public-record indicators, potential relationship-related records, financial-record indicators, criminal-record indicators, or other available information. The score is not comprehensive and may not reflect the person’s current circumstances.
The Stud or Dud Score is not a background check, consumer report, risk assessment, safety assessment, compatibility score, credit score, legal finding, or determination of a person’s character or suitability for dating or relationships. A low, high, favorable, unfavorable, or missing score should not be relied upon as proof that a person is safe, unsafe, honest, dishonest, married, unmarried, financially responsible, financially irresponsible, criminal, non-criminal, compatible, incompatible, or otherwise suitable or unsuitable.
5. Public Records and Data Accuracy
Stud or Dud may display information derived from public records, publicly available sources, commercially available data, and other permitted data sources. These sources may include records relating to bankruptcies, liens, judgments, marriages, divorces, criminal matters, addresses, phone numbers, aliases, or other information.
Stud or Dud does not guarantee that any record is complete, current, accurate, or correctly associated with the person searched. Records may have been dismissed, satisfied, released, expunged, sealed, vacated, reversed, amended, or otherwise changed after the date they were collected. Some records may refer to another person with the same or similar name or identifying information. The absence of a record does not mean that no such record exists.
Users should not rely on Stud or Dud as the sole source of truth. Official court, government, or other primary-source records should be consulted where accuracy is important.
6. No Safety Guarantee
Stud or Dud does not guarantee your safety or the safety, honesty, intentions, background, relationship status, or suitability of any person. The presence or absence of information on Stud or Dud should not be treated as proof that a person is safe, unsafe, trustworthy, untrustworthy, single, married, divorced, available, unavailable, compatible, or incompatible.
You are responsible for exercising your own judgment and taking appropriate precautions when communicating with, meeting, dating, or entering into a relationship with any person. Consider meeting in public places, telling someone you trust where you are going, verifying information independently, and contacting law enforcement or emergency services if you believe you are in danger.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Stud or Dud to stalk, harass, threaten, shame, intimidate, defame, embarrass, exploit, dox, or otherwise harm another person. You may not use Stud or Dud to publish, repost, or distribute information about another person in a manner that is false, misleading, abusive, invasive, or unlawful. You may not use Stud or Dud to contact any person in violation of law or after that person has asked not to be contacted.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Stud or Dud, remove content, limit search functionality, or take other action if we believe the service is being misused.
8. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Stud or Dud is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Stud or Dud does not assemble or evaluate information for the purpose of furnishing consumer reports, investigative consumer reports, tenant screening reports, employment screening reports, credit reports, insurance eligibility reports, or any other reports used or expected to be used in whole or in part to determine a person’s eligibility for any FCRA-regulated purpose.
By using Stud or Dud, you certify that you will not use any information obtained from Stud or Dud for any purpose regulated by the FCRA or similar laws, including employment, housing, credit, insurance, lending, government benefits, licensing, or any other eligibility determination.
